Who is it for?
Starting from April 9, 2018, with the publication of the AgID circular, all services used by public administrations according to the SaaS model must meet the necessary security and reliability requirements for offering a digital service.
Therefore, companies offering services in SaaS mode must comply and obtain the AgID SaaS qualification to offer their services to public administrations.
Criteria for the qualification of SaaS services for the PA cloud
The AgID portal clearly describes the criteria for obtaining the AgID SaaS qualification and the subsequent inclusion in the AgID marketplace. These are requirements to ensure a secure and reliable service intended for PAs.
Among these requirements are:
Application security, the availability of incident reports, and data protection.
Adequate technical support, updated delivery methods, and a guaranteed minimum service level.
Interoperability (through the use of APIs) and the use of an interoperable format for data export to avoid lock-in.
To obtain the AgID SaaS certification to provide services to public administrations, companies must meet the requirements described in the appendix “A” of the AgID circular and submit the details to the agency through the AgID marketplace.
