The new European regulation and the management of corporate vulnerability

On March 29, 2017, Francesco Ongaro participated in the conference titled "Information Security: The New European Regulation and the Management of Corporate Vulnerability".

With the approach of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), it becomes increasingly clear how the European regulation on the processing of personal information presents significant challenges, as it will apply to companies of all sizes and economic sectors, not limited to those based within the European Union, but also involving those who, for any reason, manage or process data related to European citizens. The risk of facing penalties that could reach up to 20 million euros or 4% of the company's total turnover provides further incentive to comply with the regulations.

Largabanda has deemed it important to provide its clients with an equivalent level of services and security, similar to what is already implemented in its own systems.

Collaborating with products and companies that already incorporate part of the solution is crucial, as complying with the GDPR requirements in the initial phase will not be easy at all.

For this reason, we wish to involve you and meet you at the conference sponsored by Confartigianato Imprese Arezzo and CNA Arezzo, organized by Largabanda with the participation of ISGroup. The conference is titled "Cybersecurity: the new European regulation and the management of corporate vulnerabilities" and is scheduled for March 29 at 9:00 AM at the Arezzo Fiere auditorium in Arezzo.
